where are forma products made?
All forma products are made by ourselves in our New Zealand factory as we are a manufacturer.
Objects and plastic chairs are made worldwide.

why is there no pricing online?
As each forma piece is made to order, we give you the freedom to choose any fabric or leather that best suits your lifestyle. Due to the amount of options available we are unable to price online.

how long will it take for my furniture to be made?
Lead times commence from the date your fabric arrives this time frame can vary depending on the time of the year, fabric and material availability or manufacturing workloads. The forma showroom team will advise the current lead time during your visit in our showroom.

do you offer a recovery service?
We do offer a recovery service, visit us with imagery of your sofa and to work through the fabric options or fill out our contact form.

can forma furniture be customised?
All of our furniture designs come in a variety of sizes and modular options, allowing for multiple configurations suitable for most homes. If you find our options do not suit your requirements, we may be able to make custom adjustments to suit your needs. Please see our custom page for further information.

can I pick up my furniture order?
We are unable to offer collections as we are a manufacturer, for health and safety requirements we are unable to allow the public on our site. We work with delivery companies that are component at handling furniture and difficult access.

what is the best way to care for my sofa?

will the sun or heat cause the fabric on my sofa to fade?
All fabrics will fade over time, fabrics fade from sunlight, heat or harsh interior lighting. If your sofa is placed next to a window in full sun, we always recommend UV protection film on your windows. Our forma team will be able to advise on selecting fabrics that suit your requirements.

yes — most upholstered pieces can be customised in your choice of fabric or leather, allowing you to tailor the look and feel of each piece to suit your space and style preferences.

yes — forma has an in-house interior design service. the team can assist with furniture selection, placement, colour schemes, and accessories. design consultations are complimentary for up to 2 hours with the purchase of an upholstered sofa.

all upholstered furniture is designed and manufactured in forma’s auckland factory, giving them control over quality, craftsmanship, and customisation options.

forma provides a 15-year frame construction guarantee and a 5-year workmanship guarantee on upholstered furniture. foam and fabric warranties are supported by the respective suppliers.
