
terms of trade
please read these terms carefully before placing an order with forma. by placing an order you agree to be bound by these terms of trade.
all forma furniture is made to order. a deposit of [X]% is required to confirm your order. production will not commence until the deposit and any required specifications have been received and confirmed in writing.
order specifications — including size, configuration, fabric, and finish — must be finalised before the deposit is paid. changes to specifications after the deposit has been received may not be possible and may result in additional costs.
all prices are in New Zealand dollars and include GST unless otherwise stated. forma reserves the right to adjust pricing without notice, however the price confirmed at the time of your order will be honoured.
the balance of payment is due prior to delivery or collection. forma reserves the right to withhold delivery until full payment has been received.
lead times vary depending on the product, configuration, and fabric selected. an estimated lead time will be provided at the time of order confirmation. forma will make every reasonable effort to meet the advised lead time, however delays may occur and forma accepts no liability for losses arising from delivery delays.
delivery is available throughout New Zealand. [INSERT delivery areas, rates, and any exclusions here.] delivery to rural or remote areas may incur additional charges. you will be contacted to arrange a suitable delivery time once your order is ready.
risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery. please inspect your order at the time of delivery and notify forma of any damage or discrepancy within [X] days.
as all forma furniture is made to order, cancellations are not accepted once production has commenced. if you wish to cancel an order prior to production commencing, please contact us as soon as possible. deposits are non-refundable unless forma is unable to fulfil the order.
because each piece is made to order to your specifications, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges for change of mind.
forma complies with the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. if a product is found to be faulty or not of acceptable quality, please contact us within a reasonable time of delivery. we will assess the issue and, where a fault is confirmed, repair, replace, or refund at our discretion.
the Consumer Guarantees Act guarantees do not apply where the goods have been used for commercial purposes.
forma furniture carries a 10-year structural guarantee on frames under normal domestic use. this guarantee covers defects in materials and workmanship and does not extend to fair wear and tear, damage caused by misuse or improper care, or upholstery fabric.
to make a warranty claim, contact forma with proof of purchase and a description of the issue. forma reserves the right to inspect the product before determining an appropriate remedy.
natural materials including timber and fabric may vary in colour, grain, and texture from samples or images shown. these variations are a characteristic of the materials used and do not constitute a fault. forma recommends requesting physical fabric samples before confirming your order.
to the extent permitted by law, forma’s liability in connection with any order is limited to the purchase price of the goods. forma is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the purchase or use of its products.
these terms of trade are governed by the laws of New Zealand. any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
